MYSTIC PIZZA
In the summer of 2026 I worked at Capital Repertory Theater as a swing covering 4 tracks for the 80s jukebox musical Mystic Pizza directed by Scott Weinstein. I also helped out backstage as wardrobe crew. It was so much fun working with inspiring professionals, grooving to 80s dance moves, and learning the ins and outs of a LORT-D theater.
HIS WORDS HER VOICE
In the spring of 2026 I wrote, directed, and produced my play His Words Her Voice in collaboration with Black Box Players of Syracuse. HWHV explores the voices of Shakespeare’s women and how they would act if truly set free. It is a compilation of comedic interludes, nerdy facts about Elizabethan England, and Shakespearean verse.
…HUMMING IN THE BACKGROUND
In the spring of 2026 I was a part of a devised project called …Humming in the Background at Syracuse Drama. Our group of 15 ensemble members used Tectonic Theater Project’s method of “moment work” to create a 90-minute show under the guidance of our director Ricky Pak. We spent hours assembling moments, playing with lights, and refining staging and text. The process was creatively liberating and the collaboration involved was so rewarding.
